I'm Nephilim, the webmaster of this site. This website is an ever-changing beast of an idea, and I probably will not have a form of it that I would be "completely" at peace with, but thats fine.

I have been on the internet since I was a little kid (maybe not the best thing.) I websurfed a lot, and loved playing video games and drawing on mspaint. However, the thing that really enamored me was websites. It was really fun to see the unique designs that personal websites had, or even just websites with a basic function. There was a "homegrown" charm to it that you just don't come across these days.

I want to thank LuvstarKei for her amazing video on making a website, as without her I wouldn't have had the idea for it, and this site would've never existed! Thanks to Neocities, I really do feel like I have freedom in the way I express myself, and I can come across so much cool stuff that people make. Everyone's websites are super inspiring, and reading through their stuff (yes, I read your blogs and your pages), I feel more inspired to make stuff, and to express my thoughts on topics.

I could say a lot of things, but I'll try and keep it brief! I'm an artist, indie gamedev, linux nerd, and color red enthusiast. I used to play a lot of games, but nowadays I am creating stuff or playing indie stuff. I love RPGMaker Games of all kinds, as they give me nostalgia and a sort of "an indie made this" feel (which I like). I strongly believe that indie games will be what save the current decay of video game creativity, as game dev studios are bought up by greedy companies that do not share the same passion for video games as gamers and indies do. I also strongly believe that free and open source technology will aid in saving the internet from the "hustle culture" that is currently infecting innovation (i.e. people constantly making stuff for the sake of money, not for the passion of it.) I majorly use Godot Engine to make my games, but have made games on Python (a super long time ago).
